The Ultimate Guide to words from ecology

When we talk about environmental sustainability in the environmental movement, it is important to be aware of the words that we use to describe the problem. There are three levels of self-awareness and it depends on the degree of awareness. Most people have the lowest level of awareness and so they talk about the problem of our environment in terms of the problem and not the solution.

If you are talking about the problem, you might say, “We have so much plastic in the oceans” or “We have so many cars that are polluting the air”, but if you say, “We are killing the environment, we have to fix that” then you might have a higher level of awareness.

This is the wrong level of self-awareness. We each live in our own bubble from which we can only see ourselves and our personal problems in a tiny, narrow, and limited perspective. Each person has their own personal bubble and is able to see their problems in a different way. We can’t ever see the problem in all its complexity because we are so limited by our own personal bubble. And we can’t fix all the problems we can see.

The way to cure that is to start accepting that we are all the same. It is a common misconception that we all have different personalities, different ways of thinking than others. No one is perfect, though. We all have the same basic DNA, and we all have the same basic personality. We must learn to accept this, which is a process of acceptance, not to be confused with acceptance of others.

Accepting that we are all the same is not to make us feel better about ourselves. It is to acknowledge the fact that we are all flawed. That we humans are all different, and that we are all individuals.

That’s another thing that I like about ecology, and that’s the fact that we have so much more to learn about each other, and that we all have so much more to learn about ourselves. I think we all want the same thing, which is the ability to find our place within the universe. We all want to know our place in it. We want to know how we fit in. We all want to be acknowledged as individuals. We want acceptance of ourselves and acceptance of others.

There’s a whole lot of different things that we can get excited about. We can get excited about being a part of something bigger than ourselves, being a part of something amazing, being a part of something incredible and powerful, being a part of something that we find rewarding. We can get excited about those things because they’re all different. They’re all different from each other. We can get excited about one thing, and then change our minds about another.

But what are we to do with that? Well, we can take it to a new level. Our first step in this process is to put ourselves in a situation where we can take the time to reflect and take stock of our own life. How did we get there from where we are now? What have we learned? What are we going to do differently? These are the questions that we should ask ourselves.

In a nutshell, my experience is that if you’re not sure how you got there, you’re not going to be able to answer it.

So let’s put ourselves in the right situation and take the time to reflect on where we are now and what we have accomplished. If we can get to a point where we’re able to take stock of our situation and our lives, and not just our work, then we can start making adjustments.
