However, this is not the case with engineering and science. Engineers and scientists work to create a new technology or a new process that solves a problem for us. They use their scientific and engineering knowledge to understand not just the problem, but their own motivations and to design new solutions.

Now, on a technical level, there is often a difference between “engineering” and “science.” While engineers are generally scientists, engineers are sometimes scientists. And engineers may not be scientists, but they are engineers. This is because engineers are usually the first people to think of and propose new ideas, while scientists typically look more at the problem and try to create a solution that is easier to build.

We’re interested in the idea of “engineering” our homes. In the same way that the creation of a new car requires a lot of research and prototyping before it can be sold, building a house requires a lot of effort and thought.
