My husband’s idea of what “anxiety” is is that it means he can’t sleep. He says it means he can’t control his body. My husbands idea of what anxiety means is that he is having a panic attack. I think what he means by this is that he doesn’t get to move his body, but he does get to freak out and say he is having a panic attack. I think what he is really trying to say is that he has a panic attack because he is just not allowed to move, and that he has to watch his body get smaller and smaller and smaller to make him feel better.

My husband is going through a divorce, and I know he feels more anxious about it because he does not have the control that he once had. The feeling of anxiety can be a lot like the feeling of depression, and you can feel it a lot like you are under a lot of stress, and just not being able to get out of that feeling.
