So where do you find meditation plants? This is where I usually go first. I look around my neighbourhood, especially in rural areas where I’m from. I’ll usually find a couple in a little field. It is rare for me to be out in nature doing something I’ve been doing for years, and this one is no exception. I like to go out in the middle of the afternoon and just sit and think. I like to take walks and just feel the sun on my face, or just listen to the birds singing or the wind blowing. I like not to have to think about what I want to do for a few hours.
A few weeks ago I had the great honor of meeting with a group of people who are very knowledgeable about meditation and body movement and they suggested I do some research on how to start building a meditation garden. I did some research and found that there are many forms of meditation that I could do in my yard, and I found that this is one of the easiest forms of meditation to do.
I have always believed that some forms of meditation are simply more natural than others. I’ve been doing meditation almost every day of my life in my yard, mostly on the back of my knees, and so far I’ve never felt any effects, but I’m not a scientist so I can’t say for sure.
