This is an article that I wrote for a gaming lounge in Chicago. It was a very personal article, where I talk about my own gaming lifestyle, and how gaming has helped me to be more self-aware.

After a year and a half of working at a gaming lounge, I feel like I’ve learned a lot. At first I didn’t really care because gaming is a casual hobby, but now I find it fascinating to see people’s lives on a screen. The more I know, the more I worry.

Gaming is a lot like any other form of entertainment, but it’s also one of the only forms of entertainment that you can truly be your own boss. You can take a lot of control over your game’s length, plot, and mechanics, but you’re not in control of the outcome at all.

Gaming has its ups and downs, but they are definitely not as bad as other hobbies because when you give yourself a chance to not have a life, you can really make a difference. Gaming is still, by far, the most creative form of entertainment and the people who are able to make the most of their time there are the most successful.

The gaming lounge is the place to be when you want to create your own world and story. It’s an environment where you can let go of the distractions in your life and focus on what matters, which is the games you play. It’s a place where you can play games with a bunch of other people and still be yourself. It’s an environment where you can be your own boss.
