This technology is like a time-looping game, only in a way. A pod bed has a video camera that follows you as you play, and when you wake up you can look at your own face on the computer, but the pod bed knows you’re sleeping and will take over your body. Sounds a little creepy, but I like the extra sensory input.

I like the idea that the pod beds are something that only kids play. They are just being kids with the tech. Personally, I think it’s a good way to let kids sleep without having to worry about disturbing their parents. The one thing that I’m not a fan of is that the pods are always covered in a clear plastic sheet that makes them look like theyre a hospital. I’m glad to see that the tech has come up with a better solution to that issue though.

The pods are basically computer monitors that come with a little keyboard and mouse. Most kids Ive seen play are just using it as their beds (with the exception of the ones that have a little bunk), and I think its working out pretty well. It is a lot more comfortable than the hard, plastic beds that adults often have, and the kids don’t have to worry about having to share the screen with their parents.

Not too sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I have to imagine it has. I see the bed is made of foam and the monitor is a touch screen, so its a bit more customizable.

Its a bit of a stretch, but I think its done in the interest of making it more comfortable. The new design is something we’ve been trying to get on the market for a while, and its the best version yet.
