The phrase “firetrucks don’t stop at red lights meaning” is a common thought that has popped up in the last few months. I’ve heard this a few times, and I don’t like it. First off, it can be quite arrogant in the eyes of a driver to think he is the only one who can see what is going on.
Its quite likely that many people have seen the video clips of firetrucks being unable to stop at a red light, and it makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that a firetruck can only see red.
What a mess. Yes. That is a very reasonable question, as it has not been discussed, but I do wonder if the idea that firetrucks can only see red is more of a myth than a reality. I mean if there are many accidents where the truck is stopped at a red light but it runs out of fuel, then surely not every truck that was involved in the accident was stopped at a red light.
That’s not to say that there aren’t other factors involved in a red light stop. It is possible that there was more than one firetruck involved in an accident that stopped at a red light. I myself, for example, was stopped at a red light when my truck broke down. I was stranded for hours, my home was looted, and my wife was killed by gunfire. That’s when I was forced to make the decision to stop at the light. I had no other options.
I know I’m repeating myself, but there’s nothing wrong with red light stop. In fact, this should be a very good thing for road safety. Because as long as there are red lights, there are always people in accidents. Even if you’re in the middle of a very dark alley, there are other cars that could be behind you so you can make a quick exit.
The reason you should never stop at a red light instead of driving at a red light, is because it can be a dangerous situation. A car could pass you, but it could still be going the wrong way, and be stuck in the intersection. A car could be stuck at the light, but it could turn right and be running up the light before you can get out of theway. Thats why red light stop is the safest way, because it doesn’t interfere with traffic.
The problem with this is that it is dangerous to do anything on a red light, as a car can turn right and run up the light while you’re still on your way to your destination. The car you are in now can also be in the intersection, and so you could still hit a car on your way in.
The problem with this is that while it sounds like it works, it also raises the possibility that there are cars in the intersection on your way in as well. It’s not a bad idea to be prepared for that possibility, but it does raise the possibility that you may be in a traffic jam, or maybe a crash, at that intersection.
This brings up another problem, one that is also a little bit more subtle than it might seem. Firetrucks can only run in one direction, but the lights in the intersection can move in both directions. If you’ve got a vehicle in the intersection as well, but you’ve got a firetruck in your way, you could be in danger.
In the beginning of Firetruck, youre a firetruck and your only option is to run straight into a firetruck. But it turns out that this is not exactly the way things work, so you can get into a bit of trouble. As in, a firetruck can’t stop on red lights for fear of hitting a truck in the intersection.
