I have to confess, I really don’t like dumplings. I do, however, like this dumpling recipe that I discovered on Instagram. It is also a very simple one, only using 1/2 pound of ground beef and 2 tablespoons of flour. Adding a bit of salt and pepper to the flour makes the dough a little bit thicker, and makes the dumplings a little bit easier to eat.
The one thing I would have loved to have seen when I first discovered this recipe was more flavor in the dumplings. There just aren’t as many dumplings on the market as there should be, and I think I would have liked seeing more of that. There are some, but when I made the recipe I found that the texture and flavor of the dumplings was lacking.
I’m not sure if it is because I am a masochist. I feel like I could have made it a little bit easier, but that it didn’t make any difference. If you want to make more of the dumplings, just make more. I am sure there are more out there that you could do.
Although it’s not the same flavor as the ones made with regular flour, this was a new recipe that I made after my son asked me to make him some at home. It was quite simple, and he loved it. It also makes everything in your kitchen taste better.
