another word for sports

My husband loves this word, but I think it is a misnomer. It is not about what the person is doing, but what they are trying to accomplish.

I think the word is best applied to the sports that we play. For instance, a football player would be more likely to play to win than to win by winning.

I totally agree, which is why I think “sports” is a better word for what we do. Sports are all about striving to be the best as possible, as opposed to the game being about who’s the best.

In our game we are trying to be the best as we can. To achieve that goal, sometimes we are forced to lose and sometimes we are forced to win. But the game is always about striving to be better than others and being the best as you can.

Sometimes we lose, and that is OK. We have to learn and grow from these experiences. Sometimes we win, and that is OK too. We have to learn and grow from these experiences. But in both cases, we are never satisfied, because these victories and losses are just part of the game. We never think they are truly ours, and we never think they are really winning.

Another word for sports, it’s a bit of a mouthful. We’re talking about sports, the part of life where you compete to lift that ball into the net or hit that shot that goes over the bar, and we’re talking about the sport of sports. If you go to a game, you are a part of that game, whether you want to play or not.

We think of sports as something that are always going to be there for us at some point in our lives. We just need to decide if we want to play or not. In a lot of ways, we get to decide what we will participate in. If you want to play, you play. If you don’t, you don’t.

I think most of us are in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to sports. We like to think that we know as much as anybody else about what it takes to play the game, but that is not always the case. We tend to get caught up in making ourselves feel better about what we can do, rather than asking ourselves what we are good at, which is often the hardest thing to answer.

It’s not that hard. You can learn a great deal from watching other people play. One of the best lessons someone can learn is how to play the game the way they want to. I’ve heard it said many times, “Practice makes perfect,” but more often than not you’ll lose something as you try to improve.

If you want to improve, practice. If you want to enjoy it, enjoy it. If you want to do it on your terms, go ahead and do it how you want to, but remember to practice a little.
