I have to say that Ableton live 9 manual pdf is a pretty nice tool; the only thing I would like to change is the preset names. It’s actually much easier to find a preset you want to use than it used to be.
As for the presets, I really like the ability to create a preset that includes many of the sounds and instruments that are built into Ableton Live, but I would like to see a higher threshold limit on the number of sounds that can be included, say a full orchestra. This would allow for more flexibility in the sound design options, but would also be a little more restrictive.
The limitation of Ableton’s presets is that they’re still limited to a subset of sounds, and I think that’s a good thing. There are plenty of cool sounds in Ableton that you can’t even find in traditional presets, and it would be great if they were more easily available to everyone.

The problem is that their website is a complete joke. They have an entire section titled “Samples and Tutorial,” which consists of a page and a half of images of little pink boxes.
I am not talking about the presets. I am talking about the samples. They are the little boxes that basically do nothing. There are a lot of them, but not a single one has been used. This is not an issue of “they are not good,” but “I don’t know how they work.
